Conduct of Financial Institutions Bill (COFI)

The first draft of the Conduct of Financial Institutions (COFI) Bill was published in December 2018. The second draft was published on 29 September 2020. The Bill will provide a regulatory framework for the conduct of financial institutions to protect customers, supporting fair, transparency and efficient markets, supporting innovation, promote financial inclusion etc.
