General Laws (Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorism Financing) Amendment Bill

Overview

The Minister of Finance has introduced the General Laws (Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorism Financing) Amendment Bill into the National Assembly to amend the Trust Property Control Act, the NPO Act, the FIC Act and the Companies Act to address the deficiencies identified in the Mutual Evaluation Report relating to customer due diligence measures and the requirement to keep specific information on beneficial owners and to allow for access to the records.
