NSFAS

The Thuthuka Bursary, established in 2005 by the SAICA, operates under TEUF and provides funding for African and Coloured students to pursue Chartered Accountancy (CA(SA)) qualifications. The bursary covers undergraduate studies at public universities and is funded through donations from partner firms matched 50% by NSFAS. Thuthuka students are funded in a 50:50 split between Thuthuka and NSFAS. Eligible students must be NSFAS funded graduates with a combined family financial household income of R0 – R350 000 as per the requirements of NSFAS.
