Following communication dated 24 January 2022, which outlined key details regarding the December 2021 Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) rewrite, SAICA confirms that candidates who wrote the 1 December 2021 APC received their results at 16:00 today (Friday, 18 February 2022).

The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) hereby notifies you in accordance with section 22 (1) (b) and (4) of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPI) and all other applicable data protection laws and regulations, that there are reasonable grounds to believe that the personal information of some SAICA data subjects have been accessed or acquired by an unauthorised person.

Monday 07 February 2022 - As of 1 January 2022, all private sector bodies are required to prepare and make available a Promotion of Access to Information (PAIA) manual in terms of the PAIA Act 2 of 2000 (the Act), to support requests from persons who would like to access records from these bodies.
