The Americas, ASPAC and EMEA
The International Region is one of five regions of SAICA, namely the Northern, Eastern, Central, Southern, Northern International regions.
The International Region covers the 3 geographical areas: The Americas Region, which has 4 country committees, USA, Canada, Bermuda and The Cayman Islands; The Australasia Region, which has 5 committees, NSW, Queensland, Western Australia, Victoria and New Zealand; Europe, Middle East and Africa Region, which has 5 country committees, UK, Channel Islands, Netherlands, Mauritius and Ireland.
SAICA’s International Region team would like to invite members in these provinces to join us and other SAICA members and stakeholders at upcoming events and district discussion forums.

ASPAC
A day in the life of a forensic accountant: telling the story behind the numbers in disputes and investigations - 26 August
Venue: The Royal Exchange of Sydney, 1 Gresham St, Sydney NSW 2000 Sally Davitt and Sophie Munson from HKA in Sydney will share stories of what forensic accounting really means, how it overlaps with, and differs from other types of accounting and how this field is evolving with changes in technology. They will cover:
- What forensic accountants really do, and the many different types of work we are involved with.
- Who are our clients?
- The key tools and methodologies we use
- What regulations do we need to follow?
- What is it like giving evidence in court?
- Emerging areas like crypto and AI

NSW members are corrodingly invited to join SAICA CEO, Patricia Stock

meet and greet.

What’s Happening with IFRS Accounting Standards? September 2025 update from BDO Webinar – 23 Sep
