The Americas, ASPAC and EMEA
The International Region is one of five regions of SAICA, namely the Northern, Eastern, Central, Southern, Northern International regions.
The International Region covers the 3 geographical areas: The Americas Region, which has 4 country committees, USA, Canada, Bermuda and The Cayman Islands; The Australasia Region, which has 5 committees, NSW, Queensland, Western Australia, Victoria and New Zealand; Europe, Middle East and Africa Region, which has 5 country committees, UK, Channel Islands, Netherlands, Mauritius and Ireland.
SAICA’s International Region team would like to invite members in these provinces to join us and other SAICA members and stakeholders at upcoming events and district discussion forums.

Netherlands - Geo-economics: how Europe can stand its ground in turbulent times – Webcast -14 October
We are pleased to invite you to an insightful webcast exploring the evolving dynamics of geo-economics and Europe’s strategic response in an increasingly fragmented global landscape.
Heleen Mees is an economist, opinion writer and author of four books. Her research focuses on geo-economics, that is the interplay of economics and geopolitics. Mees is a teaching professor at several universities, including New York University and the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. She has a column in de Volkskrant and her work has appeared in newspapers and magazines including Foreign Policy, The New York Times, The Financial Times, and Le Monde.

Mauritius - Cyber security and networking – 29 October

Members are invited to join a session presented by Professor Danny Myburgh, hear about his journey and vast amount of knowledge on cyber security followed by networking snacks and drinks.
Danny founded and led the SAP’s national computer crime investigation unit and now runs three companies in digital forensics, incident response and eDiscovery. He holds degrees from UCT and NWU, both Cum Laude and is a certified eDiscovery and cryportcurrency and blockchain investigator.
