Belinda Carreira

Belinda, is a trailblazing CA(SA) and CEO at SUSTAINABLEDNA. She is revolutionising business practices for a sustainable future. As a co-founder of #SustainableSA alongside SAICA in 2020, she spearheads the collective effort to eradicate poverty, and foster prosperity for people and the planet, for generations to come. Recognised with the prestigious sustainability award at the SAICA Difference Makers Award in 2022, Belinda actively works towards achieving the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals with fortitude.

Prof. Parmi Natesan, CA(SA), CD(SA) and CEO of the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA) is a steward for good corporate governance and ethical leadership. With an impressive track record, including numerous awards and accolades, Parmi has made her mark. Her transformative impact is evident through her efforts to enhance gender diversity in leadership roles and her dedication to empowering young women. Her outspokenness on accountability, business ethics and gender equality has earned her the Ethical leadership Award at the SAICA Difference Makers Awards in 2022. Parmi’s stance to hold leadership to account is showcasing the transformative power of equality, diversity and ethical leadership in business.

Shabeer Khan

Shabeer Khan, CA(SA), is the current Accountant General of South Africa and principled public officer. In his role, Shabeer is at the fore-front of managing the country’s financial resources, fulfilling the public promise of a better life for all citizens of South Africa. As a CA(SA), he brings both the financial rigour and the ethical responsibility required to lead the public purse with integrity, earning him the esteemed Public Sector CFO award in 2020. His people-led approach has been instrumental in leading successful financial and humanitarian aid responses during the Covid-19 pandemic, the July unrest in KZN and Gauteng, and the devastating floods in KZN and the Eastern Cape. Shabeer’s unwavering commitment to both financial prudence and compassionate social action has positively impacted many lives, solidifying his role as a true difference maker for the nation’s welfare.
