Trainee Trailblazer Awards – Conditions of entry

The Trainee Trailblazer Awards is open to all SAICA trainee accountants who are in the process of doing their training contracts at a SAICA accredited Training Office as 20 November 2024. Applicants must be a registered trainee in good standing with SAICA with no pending judgements against you.
Entrants may not be employees of SAICA, or any organization directly involved in the management of the Awards.
Entrants may not have a criminal record or have any pending judgements against them.
All entries must be accompanied by all the required information, documentation, photographs, and video as requested on the entry form.
The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entries will be treated in confidence and will not be circulated outside of judges, sponsors, and selected employees of SAICA.
SAICA reserves the right to publish entrants’ photos, biographical details, and videos across various media channels.
Shortlisted finalists will be notified via email and/or what’s app by approximately mid- October 2024.
The shortlisted finalists will need to submit a second (5-minute long) video, which will then be evaluated by an internal and external panel of judges to select final category winners and the overall winner. All finalists will need to avail themselves for the week beginning 21 October 2024 for the recording of this video.
All finalists will need to avail themselves for the evening of 21 November 2024 for the Awards event which will take place in Sandton, Gauteng. The category winners and overall winner will be announced at this event.
Prizes will be given to our category winners and the overall winner. Specific details about the prizes will be announced soon. Please stay tuned for further updates.
No prizes are exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
By entering the SAICA Trainee Trailblazer competition, you agree to these Conditions of Entry. Disqualification may result from non-compliance, or any other reason deemed necessary by SAICA at its sole discretion.
