Larisha Naidoo, a CA(SA), is deeply committed to the constant search for business solutions that promote sustainability and fight poverty, viewing entrepreneurship as a valuable tool for development in South Africa. As the leader of Anglo American Zimele, the socio-economic development programme, Larisha is taking the organization’s community and youth development efforts in Anglo American’s host communities to new heights.

Larisha has 18 years of solid experience in business development, finance, supply chain management, mining, and strategic thinking. She was recognized as a Women Supply Chain Leader globally in GWSCL, an award that celebrates accomplished female executives and next-generation leaders who inspire and drive women’s empowerment, equality, and excellence in the supply chain sector.

During her time at Anglo American she held senior positions, including roles in Group Shared Services and Kumba Iron Ore.

As a passionate activist, Larisha is determined to contribute to the fight against poverty in South Africa, using her position at the helm of Anglo American Zimele to develop communities with purposeful skilling.

Beyond her professional endeavours’, Larisha is equally passionate about her family, physical and mental well-being, and she loves to travel and explore new places.
