Abed Tau is a CA(SA), serial entrepreneur, and author with a strong passion for education and community development. He co-founded several companies, including Thamani Consulting, Tuta-Me, Silicon Maboneng and My Dough. Thamani Consulting, founded in 2013, supports small and large businesses with financial and compliance services, while Tuta-Me, launched in 2015, is an edu-tech company often referred to as the "Uber for tutoring." It connects learners with qualified tutors and has positively impacted over 10,000 students. Tuta -Me was sold to a South African listed company in 2019, My Dough supports entrepreneurs through programmatic support and a digital platform built for entrepreneurs, founders , freelancers and their teams.
