Zack Fineberg CA(SA), Head of Sustainability and ESG at PKF Octagon, has a master’s in development finance. He specialises in ESG, strategy and public-private finance, focusing on impact funds, sustainability, and local governance. As a consultant, Zack has advised governments, philanthropies, and MDBs on innovative financing solutions for infrastructure projects that tackle climate and development challenges. He also serves as the financial expert for the Nature for Water Facility, providing strategy and financial structuring for watershed investment programmes. Previously, Zack has worked in the public health sector for a large South Africa NGO targeting TB and HIV.
