Simphiwe Mahlangu CA(SA) is Director: Audit and IT Centre of Excellence at BDO South Africa. She plays a key role in ensuring that audit teams understand the risks associated with technology and the impact thereof on the audit. Alongside a comprehensive IT Audit portfolio, she is also responsible for her own audit clients as an audit engagement partner. She is a registered SAICA assessor, and mentors both audit and IT staff. She is passionate about the development of people and creating opportunities and is a member of the BDO SA Graduate Recruitment Committee. Simphiwe is passionate about the development of people; she is an active mentor and role model.
