Pamela Mainama (32)

Pamela Mainama CA(SA) currently works as a Senior Investment Banker in the Financial Solutions Group (FSG) team at Absa Bank Limited within the Investment Banking Division (IBD). The work that she does is primarily focused on preference share financing which is often relevant as a funding instrument in corporate acquisitions, leveraged and management buy-outs and BEE transactions. Outside of her day-to-day job, she is passionate about youth leadership. She has occupied various leadership positions, amongst others Banking on Women Executive Committee in 2018 at her place of employment and deputy chairperson of the founding Wits Chapter Executive Committee of the Association of Black Accountants in Southern Africa (ABASA) in 2013. More recently, she was one of the founding mentors for the No-Valo foundation.
