Kumukakwashe Matambo CA(SA) CA(Z) is an Associate Director in the Risk Management and Independence Department at Grant Thornton International and the founder of Accounts On Call (AOC) Institute in Zimbabwe. Since its founding in 2021, AOC has revolutionised CA education, enrolling over 360 students in 2024 after being accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe to offer CTA tuition. Kumu’s leadership has driven innovation, forged university partnerships, and provided vital mentorship to future chartered accountants. He has also played a key role in auditing standard-setting in South Africa, including the Enhanced Auditor Reporting Rule and the revision of the Public Interest Entity (PIE) Definition in the IRBA Code.
