After qualifying at Deloitte in Johannesburg Frits moved to corporate finance where he joined PwC Germany in their Dusseldorf office as part of the transaction services division. Back in South Africa, Frits continued his corporate finance career at a mid-market mergers and acquisitions firm. Here, he realised that his true passion in life was to be part of something bigger to make a significant economic impact and contribution to South Africa. This led him to his current role as the CEO of Truewood Furniture. Truewood designs, manufactures and sells world-class furniture while employing over 200 people. Truewood is committed to empowering South Africans by investing in our people, communities, and country.
