Victor Sekese CA(SA)

Victor Sekese is a seasoned businessman and professional with over 34 years of experience. He is the Chief Executive Officer of SNG Grant Thornton. In this portfolio, he also served as a Grant Thornton International board member. His business and professional experience spans across many industries, including Information Technology, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Energy, Transport and Logistics. Victor has throughout his career dedicated himself to the Accounting profession with love and passion. In that regard he served the profession in various capacities. He previously served as the national president of the Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants (ABASA), National vice chairman of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), Chairman of the Senior Partners Forum. He continues to serve as a trustee of Thuthuka Education Upliftment Fund. SAICA recognised him in 2023 through the Chairman’s Difference Makers Award for his contribution to the profession and leaving an enduring legacy that inspires future generations.

Victor aspires to live the adage “Lifting as we climb.” In that regard he serves as the Chairman of the Wits Business School MBA Advisory Committee, a Board member of Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital, Presenter/Lecturer at Common Purpose and Lifework .
