Conditions of Entry

Chairman’s Awards – Conditions of entry

  • The Chairman’s Awards is open to all SAICA members and associates with at least 15 years working experience by 23 November 2024.

  • Entrants may not be employees of SAICA, or any organization directly involved in the management of the Awards.
  • Entrants may not have a criminal record or have any pending judgements against them.
  • All entries must be accompanied by all the required information, documentation and photographs as requested on the entry form.
  • The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Entries will be treated in confidence and will not be circulated outside of judges, sponsors, and selected employees of SAICA.
  • SAICA reserves the right to publish entrants’ photos, biographical details, and videos across various media channels.
  • The judging panel will select finalists from all the entries received. Finalists will be notified via email and/or what’s app by approximately mid-October 2024. Finalists will be required to provide a 100-word bio of themselves for purposes of the finalists’ announcement as well as an additional 400-word bio by 21 October 2024 for purposes of featuring and announcements in or on other SAICA publications or platforms.
  • All finalists will need to avail themselves for the evening of 23 November 2024 for the Awards event which will take place in Sandton, Gauteng. The category winners will be announced at this event. Travel, accommodation and meals will be for your own account.
  • Prizes will be given to our category winners and the overall winner. Specific details about the prizes will be announced soon. Please stay tuned for further updates.
  • No prizes are exchangeable for cash or any other prize.
  • By entering the Chairman’s Awards, you agree to these Conditions of Entry. Disqualification may result from non-compliance, or any other reason deemed necessary by SAICA at its sole discretion.
  • SAICA respects your privacy and recognise the importance of protecting your privacy in respect of your personal information. By entering the Chairman’s Awards, we will collect or verify, and process your personal information mainly for the purpose of understanding your requirements and delivering our services accordingly. Upon entry for the Awards, we will collect or verify your personal information, including but not limited to your full name, membership number and contact details. The personal information we collect or verify will only be processed for the purpose it is collected for.
