Changes to SMME legislation to reduce costly red tape
Overview
The submission to the Presidency, Mr Sipho Nkosi, Minister of Finance, Minister of Small Business Development and National Treasury, deals with the proposed changes to SMME legislation to reduce costly red tape. Two specific areas that are currently complicated, costly, and difficult to comply with for SMMEs are noted and, if changed, could be quick wins for SMMEs and the President in his SMME compliance burden reduction endeavours.
