If accounting is your favourite subject, you could win big with SAICA’s Accounting Olympiad

The Olympiad, which is open to grade 9 learners, is there to help learners decide whether or not to choose accounting as a subject for their final school years as well as to give them the chance to test just how well they have mastered the accounting syllabus thus far – all while standing the chance to win some great prizes.

How can your school get involved?

High schools who wish to have their grade 9 learners participate have until Friday 24 May 2019 to submit their entries.

Schools are required to submit a maximum of fifteen entries per school. Participating schools will be selected by the district co-ordinators of the provincial departments of education, in conjunction with SAICA. A total of 500 learners will take part in the Olympiad on 7 August 2019 in each province.

The entry form and Olympiad rules are available on SAICA’s website here.
