Tarryn Atkinson is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa). She is also a qualified attorney and holds an Advanced Diploma in Tax Procedural Law. Tarryn is currently the Head of Employees’ Tax and Benefits at FirstRand Bank Limited.

Tarryn has extensive experience in employees’ tax, expatriate tax, share schemes and tax administration. She currently chairs the CFO Forum Tax Committee, is a member of the BASA Direct Tax Committee and ASISA Tax Compliance Standing Committee. She was previously the chairperson of the SAICA Employees’ Tax subcommittee. Tarryn previously worked in tax consulting at EY.
