Ramphelane Edward Hlakudi

MCom CA(SA)

Ramphelane Edward Hlakudi MCom CA(SA) is senior lecturer in external auditing at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and member of the Assurance Guidance Committee of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). He is the founding director of Balushi Chartered Accountants and Auditors Inc.

He worked at different organisations including Pricewaterhouse Coppers (PwC), Nkonki Incorporated, Auditor General of South Africa (AGSA) and University of Pretoria (UP).

He was seconded by the AGSA to audit different United Nations funds and programmes such as, United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations (UNPKO), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).

Edward is passionate about community engagement and scholarship and has founded various non-profit organisations, including Lebone Bonega Educational Skills Development, Economic and Management Sciences Students Association (EMSSA) and Limpopo Rural Schools Upliftment Programme.

Edward currently serves on the examination board of the South African Institute of Government Auditors (SAIGA).
