I started my career 20 years ago as a trainee accountant with Deloitte. Today I’m an Associate Director within the Quality and Risk audit technical team of the firm providing technical audit support on highly complex ISA and PCAOB engagements. I have also recently taken on the role of Africa Internal Controls leader. Prior to joining the audit technical team in 2017, I was in a client facing role performing audits on a wide variety of clients from listed entities to non-profit organisations across a number of industries such as manufacturing, consumer business, retail and property development.
