Francois is an associate partner in EY’s South African Professional Practice Group.
His role in the department has been to provide financial reporting technical assistance to EY’s assurance clients. Although assistance is provided to all clients of the firm, the primary clients with whom he has been involved are generally listed entities, in particular, those in the mining and telecommunication sectors.
Before joining EY he worked as a financial manager in the manufacturing and financial sectors. He also lectured financial accounting at honours level at the University of Pretoria.
In addition, he is a member of EY’s Business Combinations Global Subject Matter Group and chair of the EMEIA Subject Matter Group.
